By far the best 8000 I have ever used , for Shark fishing off Myrtle beach , beaches . Tough and fast . . . I use 50 lbs Spider wire and set drag at 20 to 25 lbs had some Big 120 lbs-ers 7 footers , to 600 lbs 10 footers , has handled with 100% No problems.
