A 39-12VSX Torque head T-10 pan head screw can be used as a substitution. You will need a T-10 bit to use this screw.
Comparing Take-apart Screws on the 965 ONLY:
Older 965 reels use the thinner diameter 38-965 screw. Newer 965 reels use wider diameter 38N-965 screw.
