40-114HL discontinued - SUBSTITUTION INFORMATION
Tested on a sample of the 114H-LH series reel that had the newer side plate design with the 40-114HL with o-ring on it.We put the 40-114H2 bearing with o-ring, from the H2 series China made reels onto the sample reel and it is a fit and can work as a sub for the Senator reels using the later 40-114HL.

The 40-114H2 does NOT fit any reel using the 40-114H bearing, as that is the older bearing w/slimmer diameter and different side plate fit. If your reel has 40-114H bearing, 40-114H2 will not fit.
