The 13-TRQ15 pinion gear and 5-TRQ15 main gear are the gear pair that is factory installed into the Torque Star Drag family of reels providing a 6.0:1 gear ratio.
The 5-TRQ40 4.8:1 ratio main gear can only be used with the 13-TRQ40 4.8:1 ratio pinion gear. If the main gear or pinion gear needs changing, be very sure you are replacing with the correct ratio part. The wise thing to do if the pinion or main gear require replacing, would be to order both parts.

If you do not find what you are looking for do a Google search with Mystic Reel Parts in the search with your model. I have a Penn 285 and 9 and it took me to the exact page for both. Also have the reel schematics.

I luckily found MysticParts via a Google search. Their website is comprehensive and I was at a loss on what I needed. Fortunately the “contact us” option was user friendly. To my delight I got a personalized and VERY helpful response right away. She asked questions to fully understand my needs and then followed up with links to the right parts.
