NOTES for the 965, 975, 975CS, 975CSLD, 975LD reels ONLY:
On these small International series reels, the spool bearing attached by pin to the left side of the spool. Penn did not intend this to be a serviceable part, but it can be replaced if you are very careful. You can tap out the pin and replace the bearing with 55-965. (sample image is the 965 spool)
WARNING!
BE CAREFUL not to damage the pin in any way – it is not replaceable and you’d end up needing the entire spool.Measurement OD/ID/THICK - in mm: 951/4.67/3.14 - in inches .374/.184/.121

If you do not find what you are looking for do a Google search with Mystic Reel Parts in the search with your model. I have a Penn 285 and 9 and it took me to the exact page for both. Also have the reel schematics.

I luckily found MysticParts via a Google search. Their website is comprehensive and I was at a loss on what I needed. Fortunately the “contact us” option was user friendly. To my delight I got a personalized and VERY helpful response right away. She asked questions to fully understand my needs and then followed up with links to the right parts.
