How To Find and Order Penn Reel Parts

    For the sake of this tutorial, we will be using the model Penn 500 Jigmaster reel as our example.

    To order parts, click on [Penn Parts Dept.] drop down arrow on the top navigation bar.

    Since the 500 is a conventional style reel, next, click on [Conventional Reel Parts]
 
 

Models In The Quick Menu

    Use the quick menu in blue text on the Conventional Reels page to jump to the section where you would find the 500 Jigmaster reel. So click on Jigmaster, which jumps you down the page to that section.
 
 

Select the reel from the list

    Each reel listed is a link to it's parts ordering section. Click on the 500 "Order Parts". The arrow here will also display links to the schematic, owners manuals etc.
  

The Reel's Parts Ordering Page

  • The parts are listed in numerical order.
  • There is a link to view/print the schematic, or add it to your shopping cart, near the top of each reel's page.
  • WATCH OUT! For design change warnings. This can be very important for finding the correct parts for your reel.

If you do not find what you are looking for do a Google search with Mystic Reel Parts in the search with your model. I have a Penn 285 and 9 and it took me to the exact page for both. Also have the reel schematics.

I luckily found MysticParts via a Google search. Their website is comprehensive and I was at a loss on what I needed. Fortunately the “contact us” option was user friendly.
