Unlike some left hand conversions, the dog is not reversed on this plate, rather, the angle is repositioned on the same side. The difference between the original plate and this left hand are very slight, but essential to the conversion.

IMPORTANT: This side plate has the text "Penn Squidder No. 140 Made in U.S.A PAT.D" , which does cause some confusion, but the position of the stud in the plate that the dog spring sits against is what makes it left handed. On the LH plate, the stud curves to the left. We marked the dog spring stud in white on the LH plate
